A very practical seminar on how to exploit successfully with winning proposals Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation (RIA and IA) Actions.

Why to take this course?

This is not just another course on Horizon 2020 programme. This is a very practical 4-day session with clear steps, tips, hints and methods on how organisations of any type (SMEs, industries, research institutes, universities, nongovernmental organisations, no-profit organisations, public authorities, consultancy companies, etc.) can exploit Horizon 2020 programme either as applicants or partners. This seminar conglomerates the experience of the experts with 20 years of experience in the area. It is an eye opener for proposal writers, project managers and EC evaluators who wish to realise and standardise the process, templates, tools and approaches for developing a winning proposal. Participants by the end of the course are expected to have elaborated a clear step by step action plan specifically for their organisation or client to get involved as partners or leaders in winning H2020 grant applications. In addition, they will complete the course with an effective development strategy and great content for a successful Horizon 2020 grant application.

Nikolaos Floratos

Nikolaos is ranked by Google and Linkedin in the top three positions as funding expert. He speaks fluent English and after his undergraduate and postgraduate studies as engineer in London, UK, has been working for a number of consultancy and Information Technology companies as consultant and project manager across Europe. He has completed also an MBA (Master in Business Administration) and the last 19 years he is involved in planning, managing and evaluating large and small projects in the area of research, education, ICT (Information Communication Technologies), social inclusion, entrepreneurship, standardization and consumer issues. Equipped with 9 years of training experience has transformed thousands of individuals from more than fourty countries to exploit successfully european funds including Horizon 2020 grants. He is an expert on behalf of the European Commission on evaluating and reviewing projects and proposals since 2003 and currently, through his PhD research, he focuses on student engagement and he has proved that anyone can master even complicated subjects very fast by receiving training and support in an engaging way and with the proper strategy. He delivers all his courses and seminars based on continuous interactions from his audience and based on “recipes” that allow them to absorb easily what they should master and achieve extraordinary results very quickly.
