      Course leader:

      Roberta Mancia

      Roberta Mancia is an Italian lawyer & qualified solicitor. She holds two Degrees in Law (University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy and Universidad de Alcalá de Henares, Spain), a Master in European Law, a Master on Spanish Law and a certification as Mediator in Civil and Commercial Law (PMR Belgium). Her professional background is in the legal and financial management fields of EU Programs and projects. Since 2004, she has been managing a number of EU and International Research and Co-operation Projects, namely, the food sector SMEsNET, ENFFI, ICARE, FOOD for LIFE, TRUEFOOD , BECOTEPS, FACET, NUAge (FP7), as well as international cooperation projects (namely, CB-WR MED, IJERA, FAWIRA, Thebera, PERA). She is currently adviser to Academia, SMEs and Law Firms on EU funding programs, and more specifically on legal and financial aspects of research programs, IPR regulation management, EC framework contracts and international tenders. She has sound experience as lecturer as shown by a large number of training activities at international level on the development and management of European funded projects.
