European Week of Regions and Cities – “Open days 2013”

Day 1:Monday 7^th of October

8:30	Meeting in Warsaw – Okecie Airport, registration of participants
10:20 - 12:25	Flight: Warsaw-Brussels (Charleroi)
13:30	Transfer to the hotel, check-in
14.00	Meeting in the hotel with study visit hosts, discussion about study visit programme, distribution of welcome packages
15:00 - 16:00	Opening session of “Open Days 2013” in the European Parliament
19:00	Evening events (tbc)

Day 2:Tuesday, 8^th of October

8:30	Meeting in the hotel, transfer to the workshops
9:00 - 13:00	Workshops (all of the participants attend workshops according to their first declared preference) within the framework of official Open Days programme*
13:00 - 14:00	Lunch in the Committee of the Regions
14:30 - 17:00	Workshops (all of the participants attend workshops according to their first declared preference) within the framework of official Open Days programme* or in one of the expert meetings (examples): Information Office of the European Commission - presentation of the various activities of the European institutions and major policies of the EU. Permanent Representation of Poland to the EU - presentation of the tasks of the Permanent Representation and the Polish position on current issues in the field of EU cohesion policy. European Projects Association** - a network of international cooperation for partnerships in projects funded by the EU Programmes.
19:00 - 21:00	Evening events: opening exhibition “100 EUrban Solutions” and reception with EU institution representatives, state and regional experts in cohesion policy

Day 3:Wednesday 9^th of October

8:30	Meeting in the hotel, transfer to the workshops
9:00 - 13:00	Workshops (all guests attend workshops according to their first declared preference) within the framework of official Open Days programme*
13:00 - 14:00	Lunch in the Committee of the Regions
14:30 - 17:00	Workshops (all guests attend workshops according to their first declared preference) within the framework of official Open Days programme* or in one of the expert meetings: European Commission, Directorate - General for Regional and Urban Policy – presentation of the main objectives of Cohesion Policy for 2014-2020 European Commission, Directorate - General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion - a meeting with the Polish representation from the “Polish” Unit Regional lobbying in practice** - presentation of one of the Polish Regional Offices in Brussels activities
20:00	Evening events - dinner with representatives of the European Union

Day 4:Thursday, 10^th of October

5:30	Check out, transfer to the airport Brussels / Charleroi
8:00	Flight back to Warsaw, official end of the visit

* Participants attend workshops according to their first declared preference.

Most of the seminars will be held in English

** Please note that the list of options is flexible and can be changed according to participants needs.

All meetings will be held in Polish or with simultaneous translation
