TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 CLASSROOM-BASED COURSES:

The following terms and conditions regard the contractual relationship between the participant and the European Academy for Education and Social Research Ltd.

Section 1. BOOKING
1.1 To book a Classroom-based course it is necessary to connect to European Academy for education and social research web page and click on the tab dedicated to Classroom-based courses. Here it is possible to check the catalogue and choose among the next available courses.

 

Section 2. TERMS OF PAYMENT

2.1 Once chosen the course, it is possible to register to the event.
2.2 Clicking on the “Register” button, the user will register to the event filling the form with the identifying personal data and the payment information.
2.3 The payment of the course fee is payable immediately by paypal or then by bank transfer.
2.4 In case of bank transfer, the full payment must be done within four working days after filling the form.
2.5 Cash or cheques will not be accepted.
2.6 An invoice will be sent once full payment has been received.
2.7 The course fee does not cover travel, accommodation and other costs such as health insurance

 

Section 3. COURSE CONFIRMATION
3.1 Any Classroom-based course is not confirmed until the minimum number of attendees will be reached.
3.2 Once the course is confirmed, attendees will receive an e-mail of confirmation.
3.3. A participant's placement on the course, cannot be confirmed until the minimum number of attendees will be reached.
3.4 European Academy for education and social research reserves the right to cancel the course up to 12 days before the date.
3.5 European Academy for Education and Social Research accepts no responsibility for any costs incurred (travel, hotel, etc.).
3.6 For those that have already payed the course cancelled, they will have the possibility to attend the same course on the next date or choose among another course.
3.7 Course fees are reimbursed in case of a course cancellation from 5 days before the event, due to force majeure or due to speakers’ preventions.

 

Section 4. BOOKING CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER

4.2 Cancellation by the attendees will be subject to charges as follows:

  • 30 days or more before the start of single course: the fee will be reimbursed with the exception of EUR 100 charged for administration costs;
  • two weeks to 30 days before the start of the course: 50% of the total fee will be reimbursed;
  • no refunds will be made if the cancellation is made less than two weeks before the start of the course. However, a substitute participant can be accepted.

 

Section 5. COURSE PROGRAMS
5.1 The courses are prepared and presented by qualified speakers. The European Academy for Education and Social Research Ltd accepts no liability for the correctness or completeness of the course documentation, as well as, the presentations of the speakers.
5.2 The European Academy for Education and Social Research Ltd has the right to change speakers and to modify the course program if and where necessary while maintaining the overall nature of the course.

 

Section 6. COURSE STATEMENT
6.1 Attendees will be required to sign a statement prior to attending course stating the consent to photography, audio recording, video recording.
6.2 The material will be used for the course in e-Learning and may also be used for promotional purposes. 6.3 The attendees agree that photos, audios and videos may be taken for promotional reasons and they should sign a written statement if they do not want their images to be taken during the course, otherwise their consent will be implied.
6.3 The attendees are not allowed to make audio and video recordings during the course.

 

Section 7. CONFIDENTIALITY
7.1 All personal information provided during the classroom-based courses will be kept confidential and will not be redistributed to third parties.

 

Section 8. WEBINAR DOCUMENTS AND PRESENTATIONS
8.1 The courses documents are protected by intellectual property rights and must not be duplicated, processed, amended, circulated or published in any other way without the written consent of the European Academy for education and social research Ltd.
8.2 All the materials provided by the European Academy for education and social research Ltd are intellectual property of European Academy for education and social research.
8.3 Courses materials prepared and/or presented by the Trainer is intellectual property of the Trainer.
8.3 The European Academy for education and social research Ltd accepts no liability for the correctness or completeness of the course documentation, as well as, the presentations of the speakers.

 

Section 9. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
9.1 Any dispute arising between attended and The European Academy for education and social research Ltd shall firstly be settled by way of negotiations.
9.2 If the parties fail to come to an agreement by way of negotiations, the dispute shall be brought to the courts of Dublin (Republic of Ireland).

 

 

WEB-BASED MASTERCLASSES

The following terms and conditions regard the contractual relationship between the Web-based masterclass attendee and the European Academy for education and social research Ltd.

 

Section 1. BOOKING

1.1 To book a Web-based masterclass it is necessary to connect to European Academy for education and social research web page and click on the tab dedicated to Web-based masterclasses. Here it is possible to check the catalogue and choose among the next Live Web-based masterclasses or choose among the recorded once.

 

Section 2. TERMS OF PAYMENT

2.1 Once chosen the webinar in the European Academy for education and social research web page, it is possible to register to the event.

2.2 Clicking on the “Register” button, the user will be directly redirected to the Webinarninja web page and will be able to pay the webinar via credit card. The Registration to the course will be automatic once the payment has been processed. 

2.3 An invoice will be sent to the attendee by 5 days from the registration.

2.4 Cash or cheques will not be accepted.

 

Section 3. WEB-BASED MASTERCLASS ACCESS

3.1 Once registered, attendee will receive an e-mail with the link of the platform in which the Web-based masterclass will take place.

3.2 The Web-based masterclasses are prepared and presented by qualified trainers. 

3.3 At the end of the Web-based masterclass, attendees will be able to watch the reply by the next 3 months and will get the pdf materials used on the course.

3.4 Attendees are not allowed to make audio and video recordings during the Web-based masterclasses.

3.5 The attendees are not allowed to share, distribute, sell or transfer their access to other individuals.

 

Section 4. WEB-BASED MASTERCLASS CONFIRMATION

4.1 Any Web-based masterclass is not confirmed until the minimum number of attendees will be reached. 
4.2 Once the Web-based masterclass is confirmed, attendees will receive an e-mail of confirmation.
4.3 European Academy for education and social research reserves the right to cancel the LIVE Web-based masterclass up to 5 days before the date. 

4.4 For those that have already payed the Web-based masterclass cancelled, they will have the possibility to attend the same Web-based masterclass on the next live date or choose among another live or recorded Web-based masterclass.

 

Section 5. BOOKING CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER

5.1 Deciding to submit a cancellation to a Web-based masterclass, customer will not be reimbursed but will have the possibility to participate to another Web-based masterclass or find a substitute able to attend it.

Section 6. CONFIDENTIALITY

 

6.1 All personal information provided during the Web-based masterclasses will be kept confidential and will not be redistributed to third parties.
