    • library_books Programme: Participants to this Tailor-made course have had the possibility to enhance both their theoretical and practical knowledge on EU funding opportunities. The programme included all the steps of a project: elaboration of proposals, the creation of consortium, eligibility criteria, the evaluation of proposals and all the financial, communication and dissemination issues. The participants learned also how to find an open call for proposals and how to analyse its main features, in order to be able to find a pertinent call for their project idea. The course included also practical exercises on the contents of the course, in order to give to the participants some practical insights on the development of project proposals.

  • Introduction to the European direct funding system and what is a European Project?
  • How to find & read a call for proposal
  • How to build a consortium: how to find partners, role of project coordinator & role of partners, third parties, subcontracting parties
  • How to draft a project proposal: description of the project activities
  • Implementation of work plan & project objectives, work package break down
  • Project management : internal managing bodies
  • Evaluation procedure of project proposals (eligibility criteria; criteria of evaluation for proposals; the evaluation process, the scientific relevance, consortium management, impact..)

  • Negotiation and granting system of European projects.
  • Legal aspects of EU funded project: contract with the EU Commission and obligations between partners ( Grant Agreement, Consortium Agreement)

  • Dissemination of Information & Communication activities
  • Project Reporting: the Financial and Administrative report, the activity report
  • Call for proposal search and analysis of main objectives(publication date, deadline, working documents, how to identify a pertinent call for proposal, how to read a Work Programme)

  • Practical exercise 1: how to build a consortium - stakeholders identification and partnership building ( including drafting of pre contractual agreements)

  • Practical exercise 4: How to draft a project budget and exercise on personnel cost identification and break down
